Hungry Joe's Tripple Cheese & Pepperoni Lasagne.

Hungry Joe's are described as "SERIOUSLY SATISFYING MEALS FOR ONE" so to start with, everything about this promises to be filling. Now I have a choice, 50 minutes in the oven, or 11 minutes in the microwave.

11minutes later here's how it looks: not bad but it doesn't look that as cheesy as I'd hoped

TIP:
Nobody wants to eat the food out of a plastic dish, sure it would save on washing up, but who cares? I have a dishwasher. Anyway the point is when its a lasagne you have to remove it from the dish without  ruining the form. there's a special place reserved in hell for people who turn their lasagne upside down. just run a knife down the side all the way around and then try slide it under one end, lift the end as you tip the tray and allow your meal to slide onto the plate

Nailed it!

I take my first bite and my fears of not enough cheese vanished in a creamy glory. the pasta was perfect, nice and soft(the edges probably would have crisped up nicely if I had done it in the oven.) The mince left a little to be desired, was fairly plain and slightly watery, but the peperoni was nice, although I would have preferred full sized pizza style peperoni and not the mini ones.

As promised this was filling, not overly so, but no need for a side unless you tend to eat loads.

£2 is definitely worth an entire meal especially one this tasty!

All in all a good value meal nice and filling exactly as described on the box and only a few minor let downs

My rating: 4 stars!
